Hélder Mota Filipe, Chairman of the Order of Pharmacists, will visit, on the 10th of April, Espaço Saúde 360º Algarve and Farmácia da Penha, in Faro.
Since the Algarve pharmacies are partners in the project through the ''I know my medicines'' activity – a therapy review service that aims to promote literacy in the area of medicine, valuing the contribution of pharmacies to the polymedicated elderly population through promotion of the correct, safe and effective use of medicines – the Chairman will visit Farmácia da Penha.
During this visit, a therapy review service will also be carried out for one of the project's users.
The visit will end with a visit to the Espaço Saúde em Diálogo de Faro, where a nutrition workshop will take place, followed by an Easter snack, prepared by the users of Espaço Saúde 360º Algarve together with nutritionist Silvia Calero.
