Vita Nativa will celebrate its 5th anniversary during the month of April, with face-to-face activities in Olhão, Loulé, Seixal and Barreiro and with an online session about the association and its projects.
On the 5th, the anniversary of the Algarve association for nature and environment conservation, the webinar “5 years of Vita Nativa” will be promoted, which will be an opportunity «to get to know this young association, through the great diversity of projects that have been coming to be developed", among which the Local accommodation for birds, according to the association.
In the Algarve, in addition to the online session celebrating the 5th anniversary, on April 5th, the Algarve association for nature and environment conservation will promote an interpretive walk in Ribeira do Vascão, in Loulé, on April 15th.
On the 22nd, an activity to control invasive plants will be promoted in the Ria Formosa Natural Park, in Olhão, during the morning. In the afternoon, the birds will be presented with a contribution to their conservation, through a nest box construction session.
Vita Nativa's 5th anniversary celebrations end on the 29th, with the usual monthly activity for members, which in April will be dedicated to birdwatching at Quinta de Marim.
All activities are free and will be individually announced on Vita Nativa's social networks, namely on Facebook and Instagram, "with all the details and instructions on how to register".
Founded in 2018, Vita Nativa is an independent Portuguese association, equivalent to a Non-Governmental Organization for the Environment, non-profit, which aims to promote environmental conservation and the dissemination and promotion of natural heritage, species diversity and the importance of natural resources. ecosystems.
