The “Tourism Trade Show”, which will bring together agents and entities linked to tourism to publicize ideas, join efforts, interact and share innovative projects, will take place this Thursday, February 9, at the Escola de Hotelaria e Turismo do Algarve, in Faro.

The initiative is entirely organized by finalist students of the Tourism Management course, just a few weeks away from completing their three-semester training.

According to the organization, «never, like this year, have there been so many companies willing to participate and to show themselves in the exhibition area of the “Tourism Trade Show”».

In addition to the exhibitors, there are activities with relevant themes for those who work in this industry, such as "Life Story: The Professional Career of...?", a gathering with former students of the Algarve Tourism School, an internship clarification session and even showcooking.

The opening session will be attended by José Apolinário, president of the Coordination and Regional Development Commission (CCDR) of the Algarve, Rogério Bacalhau, mayor of Faro, and also João Fernandes, president of the Algarve Tourism Board.

«We brought together in our school a group of agents from the sector, decisive for the future of our young people. This is the time to make decisions and wishes come true, whether for full integration into the job market or to evaluate opportunities for curricular internships», says Paula Vicente, director of the school.

The “Tourism Trade Show” has free admission.
