Farense drew 2-2 with Estrela da Amadora, in a game played this Friday, February 3rd, at Estádio de São Luís, in Faro, counting for the 19th round of the II league.
The game was marked by the announcement of the dismissal of Vasco Faísca, until then head coach of Farense, right after the match, despite the fact that a week ago the “divorce” between the coach and the club of Faro be taken for granted.
On Farense's bench, guiding the team, Neca appeared, who saw her team at a disadvantage early in the game.
In the 9th minute, Aloísio Souza scored, following a corner, and put the visitors in advantage.
Farense managed to rebalance the score in the 40th minute, through Elves Baldé.
The 1-1 was to remain until the break.
In the second half, in the 64th minute, Ronald put the Amadora team ahead again.
Farense reacted and was close to the goal several times, but Bruno Brígido, Amadora's goalkeeper, prevented the tie.
But this one would arrive, from the penalty spot, after the 90th minute. The referee signaled a foul by Kialonda Gaspar on Marco Matias, in the penalty area, and pointed to the nine-metre mark. Called to score, Pedro Henrique did not waste and restored equality.
With this result, Farense remains in 2nd place in the II Liga and kept within a short distance of 1 point for Estrela da Amadora.
