Sociedade da Água de Monchique (SAM) has just launched the first Portuguese alkaline thermal water spray.
Coming from the Serra de Monchique, this product allows the company to enter a new business area, dermocosmetics.
«The Monchique Alkaline Thermal Water Spray is another milestone in SAM's path. We enter 2023 with a new business area, in a segment that is intrinsically linked to the core and philosophy of Água Monchique – health and well-being», says Vítor Hugo Gonçalves, CEO of Sociedade da Água de Monchique.
After «intense work», the thermal water spray reaches, exclusively, national pharmacies and parapharmacies, but with the ambition of being able to be present in some international markets in the short/medium term.
«The first step is to consolidate our presence in the Portuguese market, but we are already studying which parts of the globe where it makes sense to be with this differentiating product that adds value. Another excellent example of the best that Portugal can offer», highlights the person in charge.
The Monchique Alkaline Thermal Water Spray reinforces its positioning, notoriety and visibility, «not only as the most alkaline water in Portugal, and one of the most alkaline in the world, but also as a brand attentive to market trends and needs of its consumers», says Vítor Hugo Gonçalves.
Monchique Alkaline Thermal Water is distinguished «by the characteristics of Monchique Water with its pH (9,5), by the use of technology 'bag on valve' which allows a continuous spray spraying, with use until the last drop (99,9%) and the safety of the water being found in an enclosure inside the aluminum packaging, which gives it even more protection», the brand also mentions.
The Spray is available in 200ml format and is currently present in more than 200 pharmacies and parapharmacies, distributed across 110 municipalities, in a partnership with Vitaceutics.
