The Granfondo da Volta ao Algarve is back in Lagoa on the 19th of February.
Participants in the Algarve Granfondo will have the opportunity to climb Fóia, the highest point in the Algarve, a mythical place in the decision of the Volta ao Algarve. This will be one of three climbs on the longer route.
The options are divided between the Granfondo, with 134 kilometers and an accumulated of 2325 meters, or the Mediofondo, with 88 kilometers and an accumulated of 1220 meters. In both cases the departure and arrival will be in Lagoa.
This year there will be something new at the Algarve Granfondo: classifications will be made by age category. Both in the men's and women's sector, winners will be found in under-23, elite, master 30, master 40, master 50 and master 60.
