The Municipality of Silves, through the Silves Walking and Running Center (Silves Runners), is promoting the participation of citizens in the EDP Half Marathon of Lisbon, which takes place in the Portuguese capital on March 12th.
Participants will be able to choose two distances, 21 or 10 kilometres, and start training with the Silves Runners group, through regular weekly walks and runs.
The race route starts at the 25 de Abril bridge and ends at the Jerónimos Monastery.
Those interested in participating in this race can register as a group with Silves Runners at chamber website, until the 31st of December, but with limited vacancies.
When registering with the Silves Runners group, participants can also carry out physical preparation, are entitled to travel on the CMS bus, participation kit (technical t'shirt, dorsal and time recording chip and official bag) and socializing after the test in a place to be defined.
