The Counter will have the technical support of several Cape Verdean specialists, who will help create specific social responses for the population, in conjunction with the Local Center for the Integration of Immigrants, the High Commission for Migrations, the Institute of Employment and Vocational Training , the Embassy of Cape Verde and the Governments of Portugal and Cape Verde.

The Branch is focused on the concept of social economy, based on three fundamental pillars: social solidarity, education and services.

The presentation ceremony of the Lusofonia Migrant Desk was attended by Álvaro Araújo, mayor of VRSA, Dirce Évora, legal consultant and social activist, and Ildo Fortes, coordinator of the Support Office for Social Inclusion of Cape Verdeans and ambassador of the Municipality of Sal in Portugal.
