Albufeira: NAU São Rafael Atlântico presents proposals for the festive seasons

Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve have special menus

Um buffet lines designed for Christmas Eve and proposals for a gala dinner for New Year's Eve are the new proposals of the five star Algarve unit NAU São Rafael Atlântico, in Albufeira, for the festive seasons. 

The Christmas buffet included hot and cold dishes, soup, garnishes, tablehow to cook and desserts. At the hot buffet, the highlight is the codfish cooked with everyone, kid roasted in the oven, octopus, stewed chicken, croaker in the oven or grilled black pork.

For cold cuts, roast suckling pig, shellfish, and various salad options. The soup option is a smoothie of clams with coriander. at the table of cooking show the highlight goes to the cheese station, the turkey roasted with chestnuts or the ham in the press.

Desserts include farofias, donuts, rice pudding, flounder, dreams, Christmas log, orange pie, Algarvian almond pie or the typical D. Rodrigo. A Vegan option is also available, the lentil stew, Thai tofu curry, sweet potato and spinach, and chocolate cake.

Buffet service is available for 65 euros per person and includes drinks. Children from 3 to 12 years old have a 50% discount – with the service free for children up to 2 years old.

Accommodation is also available for the night of December 24th, from €41,25 per person, in a standard double room, with breakfast included.

For those looking for a program for New Year's Eve, the unit of the NAU Hotels & Resorts group has prepared a package that includes accommodation on the night of December 31st, gala dinner and entertainment.

 

 

Starting at 19:00 pm, welcome cocktail, followed by dinner at 19:45 pm, with standard, vegan or children's menu options, for children up to 6 years old.

The menu standard includes asparagus, black pork ham, egg, cream cheese and truffle, celery and spice chutney and shrimp ketchup with BBQ pepper ketchup and fried onion at the table. The starter is pumpkin tartlet and cured goat cheese with apple, pine nuts and coriander. The seafood dish is a pastel de crab, sea bass and olive and the fish dish is cod with sea soup and pumpkin.

The meat dish is suckling pig à la bairrada accompanied by chestnut gnocchi and orange emulsion.

This dinner includes live music by the 'Orquestra Humana', with different musical moments throughout the meal.

At 23:45 pm, customers are invited to watch the fireworks at the Panoramic Bar of São Rafael Atlântico, where sparkling wine and raisins will be offered for the countdown to entry in 2023. At 1:00 am supper is served, and until 2:00 am, customers You can count on the Open Bar, with the same selection of drinks as for dinner and sparkling wine.

The New Year's Eve package at the NAU São Rafael Atlântico hotel is available from 215 euros per person.
