25 new video clips, recorded as part of the new album “O Accordion by the hands of young people”, will be released this Thursday, November 24th, at 22:00 pm, on Youtube and social networks of the Garvefole Accordion Association.
The video clips were recorded by João Espada, in various parts of the Algarve.
This album, which had the participation of some guest musicians (Cláudio Sousa on classical guitar, Luís Henrique on electric bass and Ricardo Martins on Portuguese guitar), will be available on the main digital platforms and also in physical format. It has the participation of 36 young people, many of them national champions and with a very remarkable curriculum with several international awards.
The young participants are: Afonso Coelho; Ana Luísa de Águeda, Andreia Cabrita, Andreia Martins, Bruna Palma, Carina Duarte; Carolina Palma; Carolina Veloso, Catarina Viegas, Cristiano Teixeira, Filipe Cortes, Gonçalo Bicho, Inês Faria; Lara Coelho; Lourenço Guerreiro, Madalena Sousa, Mateus Marrachinho; Matilde Sousa; Miguel Coelho; Pedro Ramos; Rodrigo Amador, Rodrigo Veloso; Tiago Coelho, Tiago Conceição, Tito Alexandre; Tomás Alexandre and Tomás Coelho.
This initiative has the Ministry of Culture as an institutional partner under the Guarantee Culture program and has the following support: Municipality of Loulé, Regional Directorate of Culture of the Algarve, Parish Council of São Clemente, Parish Council of São Sebastião, Council of Parish of Boliqueime, Parish of Santa Bárbara de Nexe, Union of Parishes of Conceição and Estoi, Union of Parishes of Albufeira and Olhos D`Água, Parish of Paderne and Parish of São Bartolomeu de Messines; Association of Accordionists of the Algarve – Mito Algarvio; Bordeirense Recreational Society; APEXA and Beltuna.
