They dressed in lilac, pink and white and formed a giant human bond in the courtyard of each school. The Rio Arade School Group, from Lagoa, joined the Portuguese League Against Cancer initiative “Pink October – breast cancer prevention month” and joined the school community in a solidarity action, on Friday, the 28th.
The activity was organized by the Citizenship and Development area and had the participation of classes from 1st to 3rd cycle of all schools in the group.
In addition to dressing up, students, teaching and non-teaching staff received pink bows to put on their chests.
«The activity had great support from the school community, particularly from the students, who were sensitized to the cause», according to the Lagoon school group.
