The “Catadupa” project, a physical theater and music performance, promoted by A Gaveta Associação Cultural e Pesquisa Teatral, will be presented this Sunday, October 30, at 16:00 pm, at the Chapel of Nossa Senhora de Guadalupe, in Vila do Bispo. .
“Catadupa” is a physical theater and music performance by Rita Rodrigues and Ricardo Lopes, which aims to be a non-voluntary anti-solitude manifesto. The show is part of the DiVaM program – Dynamization and Valorization of Monuments.
«This project had as its starting point several workshops with the children, youth and senior community, and several individual interviews in order to obtain an answer to the proposal: “teach me something you know how to do”. This knowledge, simple or complex, was worked on in order to create an artistic object», explains A Gaveta.
The design is by Rita Rodrigues, with interpretation and co-creation by Maria João Alcobia, Nuno Murta, Ricardo Lopes and Rita Rodrigues and production by Maria João Alcobia.
