Domingos Quadé presents the book “Guinean law of living natural resources” in Loulé

Domingos Quadé, former chairman of the Guinea-Bissau Bar Association and former independent candidate for the 2014 presidential elections in this country, comes to the Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen Municipal Library, in Loulé, on November 4, at 19:30 pm, to present his most recent book, “Guinean Law on Living Natural Resources”.

The fauna, flora and environment are the dimensions addressed in the work. The book talks about the environment in its two parts (living and non-living).

This initiative, under the heading “Open Books”, will have the presentation of José Canas, also from Guinea.

Domingos Quadé was born on November 15, 1961, in the village of Tande, section of Ingoré, sector of Bigene, region of Cacheu. He graduated in Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra.

Received training from OHADA trainers in Porto Novo, Benin. He was given the title of honorary doctor by the Cypres International Bible Institute University of Malawi, in recognition of the work “Guinea-Bissau, by the force of the State, Justice and National Reconciliation”.

He is a lawyer by profession and former chairman of the Guinea-Bissau Bar Association. The author has dedicated himself to the study of environmental law in general and the law of living natural resources in particular.

He is a legal advisor to several national and international institutions, a deputy elected by the PRS, a member of the Specialized Commission for Legal, Constitutional and Human Rights Affairs and a member of the ANP's Constitutional Review Commission.

He is the author of several works related to Environmental Law, namely: "Legal Report on the Biosphere Reserve of the Bolama Bijagós Archipelago - Legal Analysis and Public Policies", "Legal Operation of the Biosphere Reserve of the Bolama Bijagós Archipelago", "Essays legal and institutional issues on Protected and Terrestrial Areas, contribution to their study”, “Rights of Living Natural Resources, (in press)”, “PRS, Uma Vida, Uma História (press)”, among others.
