Two open meetings to share memories, at the headquarters of the Associação Casa-Museu José Pinto Contreiras (ACMJPC), at the former Sociedade Recreativa Gorjonense, in Sítio dos Gorjões (Santa Bárbara de Nexe), are scheduled for this Saturday, the 29th, at 14:30 pm , and for Sunday, 30, at 15:00.
Sessions are integrated into the project The construction of the place of Alto in the Parish of Santa Bárbara de Nexe, that ACMJPC is developing, during the months of October to December, in partnership with the Colectivo Janela Aberta Teatro (JAT) and the Parish Council of Santa Bárbara de Nexe, and supported by the Regional Directorate of Culture of the Algarve.
The project is based on the development of a set of theatrical-based community dynamics, focusing on the social and cultural memories of the natives or residents of Sítio dos Gorjões.
Based on this initial work, ACMJPC and JAT intend to create a theatrical performance to be presented during the months of November and December, in Gorjões and Santa Bárbara de Nexe.
