“Algarve + Sustentável” has a walk in Arrifana, sustainable surfing and bird watching

Hiking in Arrifana, bird watching, building nest boxes and sustainable surfing are the activities that you can practice, starting at 9:00 am, on Saturday, October 22, as part of the “Algarve + Sustainable, in Aljezur”.

The objective of these actions is to raise awareness of good practices, share knowledge and contact companies that practice these activities in a sustainable way. Through these moments, promoted by Rota Vicentina, Via Nativa and Future Eco Surf, participants will be able to get to know and assimilate a little of the identity of the region.

At the end of the day, the entertainment takes place outdoors, next to the Aljezur Municipal Market, with free admission. At 17:00 pm, the play “Much help what doesn't disturb” will take the stage, presented by the Baal 17 theater company and, at 19 pm, it will be time for music, performed by Mateus Verde, in his play “Sons do Chão”.

This will be the last day of the biggest Nature Tourism event in the Algarve which, since 2021, has brought together the Nature Tourism Biennial and the Algarve Nature Fest, in a combination of efforts to publicize and promote places, activities, good practices and knowledge, for the implementation of international standards of sustainable tourism.
