The Algarve will wear pink in a march/race against breast cancer scheduled for the 23rd of October, in Faro.
“Mama em Movimento” was organized by the Algarve Biomedical Center, in partnership with the University of the Algarve, the Oncological Association of the Algarve and the Algarvian Walking/Running Group, with the aim of raising awareness of the prevention of breast cancer.
The route is 12,5 kilometers long with departure and arrival at the Gambelas Campus and passing through Salinas/Ludo with the right to birdwatching at Quinta do Lago. In addition to the race, the event also has two walks – the longest of 10 kilometers and a shorter of 6 kilometers.
To participate in the first march/race “Mama em Movimento” just register here until October 14th.
Registration costs 10 euros and includes a race t-shirt, with the total amount of revenue going to the Algarve Oncological Association.
