Adriana Nogueira, Regional Director of Culture of the Algarve, will join Maria João Neves to talk about the theme “Philosopher person and the metaphysics of Dr. Mora”, at the next Café Filosófico at the AP Maria Nova Lounge, which will take place on Thursday, October 20, at 18:30 pm, at this hotel in the city of Tavira.
This month's session will bring to light the philosophical texts written by Fernando Pessoa and explore a heteronym of the Portuguese poet who dedicated himself to metaphysics: Dr. Antonio Mora.
After, in the last session of the Philosophical Café, Maria João Neves has talked about «some of the philosophical implications that exist both in classical physics and in quantum physics», the October edition will analyze the way «how Pessoa and Mora approach the subject».
Maria João Neves has a PhD in Contemporary Philosophy, has published several books and scientific articles and has been running a philosophical office since 2006.
