At the end of each school year, the Municipality of São Brás de Alportel awards the best students in the municipality, finalists in the various teaching cycles, a prize, which this year will be a trip to Paris.
In the 2021/22 edition, Paris was the destination chosen for this award, which takes, between the 8th and 10th of September, six young people from São Paulo on a trip. On the 29th of August, the young people were congratulated for their commitment and for the good results obtained, in yet another edition of the award ceremony for the “Best Students in the County”.
Mariana Ribeiro, Beatriz Silva and Mafalda Marreiros, finalists in the 2nd Cycle of Basic Education, occupy the places in the 6th grade School Excellence Board, Bárbara Brito and Beatriz Agostinho, from the Valor Board and Diogo Pereira, at the top from the Board of Excellence, finalists of the 3rd cycle and also Iúri de Sousa Pinto, from the Board of Valor and Bernardo Faria, the best student of the Board of Excellence, finalists of Secondary Education, are the young students awarded this school year, who were chosen by the José Belchior Viegas School Group.
«With education as a priority area for the development of the entire community, the Municipality of São Brás de Alportel annually awards the best students in the municipality, in an initiative that aims to recognize the effort and school performance of these students, and above all, the incentive aimed at all students in the municipality, seeking to encourage their study habits», says the municipality in a note.
This is an initiative of the Municipality of São Brás de Alportel carried out in partnership with the José Belchior Viegas School Group.
