Accordionist Gonçalo Pescada and Quintet Sull'a Corda will be at República 14, in Olhão, this Saturday, August 27, at 21 pm.
Gonçalo Pescada is from the Algarve and has become one of the most renowned accordionists in the country, holder of several prizes in national and foreign competitions. In addition, Gonçalo has recorded CD's and several performances as a soloist with orchestras such as Orquestra do Algarve, OrchestrUtopica and Orquestra Metropolitana and concerts given in venues such as Bulgaria Hall, Queen Elisabeth Hall and CCB
In this concert, the artist will be accompanied by Quinteto Sull'a Corda, a classical group composed of musicians from different origins, all residing in the Algarve region.
The concert program will evoke composers from the History of Universal Music, such as JS Bach and others, but will have a special focus on the work of Argentine Astor Piazzolla and accordionist Richard Galliano.
