The Emergente program, launched in 2020 to support artists during the pandemic, now launches the second cycle of exhibitions, which will be on display from August 29 to September 30 at Fábrica da Cerveja, in Faro.
The Municipality's project Faro with Teatro das Figuras will now continue to provide the necessary resources for the production of artistic works with a strong connection to the territory, namely the Faro and to the Algarve.
The group exhibition “Emergente II”, curated by Associação 289, presents the result of the second cycle, which began in 2021, with a multidisciplinary collective of artists selected by the program.
This second cycle includes artists Ana Leonor Rocha, André Sancho, Boris Chimp 504, Fabiana Simões, Joana Costa, João Pedro Viegas, João R. Ferreira, Leando Marcos, Margarida Soares, Mateus Verde and Policromia Associação Cultural.
