António Lacerda Sales, Assistant Secretary of State for Health, visits this Thursday, June 9, the Centro Hospitalar Universitário do Algarve (CHUA) to inaugurate the new biplanar angiograph and also visit the site of the future Medically Assisted Procreation Unit.
Lacerda Sales will also get to know the presentation of the multidisciplinary team of the gender identity and diversity consultation, which marks the beginning of its activity in the Algarve, and visit the intermediate care/stroke works
This new biplanar angiograph will provide the Algarve region with a new capability in the treatment of neurovascular diseases, avoiding the transfer of patients to Lisbon.
The equipment was financed by the Algarve Operational Plan – CRESC Algarve 2020.
