Continental Formula Windsurfing Championship will take place in Lagoa

From the 2th to the 5th of June

The Continental Formula Windsurfing Championship will take place at Praia Grande, in Ferragudo, Lagoa, between the 2nd and 5th of June. 

The championship will have the presence of competitors from Portugal, Spain, Brazil and Italy, highlighting the presence of the champion of Brazil, Leonardo Mulim, the Spanish champion, Roberto Ortiz, as well as the national and Iberian champion in 2021, the Portuguese Vasco Chaveca.

The races start this Thursday, June 2nd, at 14:30 pm, with the morning period reserved for the measurements and inspections of the race, as well as the accreditation of the competitors.

During the four days, there will be four events inside the bar, and there may also be a long-distance route, between Ferragudo and Alvor, if the weather conditions allow it.

In addition to the tastings, the event will feature a sunset on Friday, at 20:00 pm, also in Praia Grande, with wine tastings, followed by a convivial dinner between the competitors.
