The Mast Contest culminates in Praça 1º de Maio, with the Arraial de S. João, on the night of the 23rd of June. The XX Mastros Contest is organized by the Municipality of Castro Marim and counts on the collaboration of local associations and clubs: Cultural Association “Amendoeiras em Flor”, Social Association of the Parish of Odeleite, ARCDAA – Associação Recreativa, Cultural e Desportiva dos Amigos de Alta Mora, Campesino Recreativo Futebol Clube, Casa do Povo do Azinhal, Clube de Junqueira, Grupo Desportivo e Cultural do Rio Seco, Associação Recreativo e Cultural do Azinhal, Castromarinense Musical Band, Irmandade do Imaculado Coração de Maria.
