Thousands of people have already participated in the various activities that are taking place, namely thematic exhibitions, baptisms at sea, visits to ships, complementary activities, among other events aimed at the whole family.
Navy Day is celebrated in honor of the feat of Vasco da Gama, who on May 20, 1498, for the first time in history, connected Europe to the East by sea, with his arrival in Calicut, India. .
