Banda da Armada and Nuno Guerreiro come together to “give music” to Navy Day

Banda da Armada and singer Nuno Guerreiro from Loulé will perform tomorrow, Friday, the 20th, at 21:30 pm, at Jardim Manuel Bivar, in Faro, as part of the celebrations of the Day of the Navy, which are taking place in the Algarve capital.

The concert's line-up, says Marinha, «promises to meet all generations with national and international classics and other surprises».

Banda da Armada has existed since the XNUMXth century and throughout its history «it was awarded with several distinctions, namely the Gold Medal for Distinct Services and the Identitas Mare Award».

«His work is of great public interest, as in addition to the military scope, he also has a notorious presence in culture, having performed several concerts throughout Portugal and abroad», adds the Navy.

The musical training «is composed of some of the best instrumentalists in Portugal and in the roles of Maestro and Head of the Banda da Armada Portuguesa, the frigate Captain Délio Gonçalves stands out».

The concert is free.
