Zé Eduardo Trio will perform at the Cantaloupe Café, at Mercados de Olhão, on the 1st of May, Sunday, at 18:00.
Formed about a year ago, this trio quickly rose not only to local but also national notoriety, having already performed at the Hot Club de Portugal, as well as at the Loulé Jazz Festival, among others, namely several performances at Cantaloupe.
Various circumstances (to which the pandemic is not unrelated) allowed the unforeseeable combination of these three musicians more than qualified for the difficult task of making a jazz trio sound.
Pianist Simon Seidl and drummer Marcelo Araújo accepted the challenge proposed to them by veteran bassist Zé Eduardo and the result is in sight. In 2022, among other musical adventures, it will be the resident trio at the Cantaloupe Jazz Café where they will present, at the beginning of each month, an original and diversified program.
