The municipality of Lagoa will mark the 48th anniversary of the 25th of April with a set of activities that will last until the 11th of May, under the theme “Singing Life, Singing Freedom”.
The celebrations begin on the 24th of April, at 22:00, when the concert “Cantores Improváveis de Abril” takes place at Largo do Auditorio Carlos do Carmo. The concert brings together on stage the Orquestra de Sopros do Algarve with Maestro João Rocha, with the participation of João Reis, Carla Pontes, Beto Kalulu, Ricardo Sousa and Ondina Santos.
On the 25th of April, at midnight, there will be the Raising of the Flag to the sound of the National Anthem and, at 00:01, the Cake of the 48th Anniversary of the 25th of April will be served.
The celebrations end on the 11th of May with the 7th Young Municipal Assembly at 14:00.
