The exhibition “Relics of space and time in Vila do Bispo – wood, chisel art and a sculptor’s vision of the local heritage”, by the Vila do Bispo artist Mário Soares, can be seen until 29 April at the Interpretation Center from Vila do Bispo.
The exhibition «gathers works in wood and other materials, in which various techniques of sculpture, carpentry and scale representation of different elements of the cultural heritage of the municipality of Vila do Bispo are explored, namely architectural, religious, military, archaeological and heraldic ».
The exhibition is «a retrospective of the work developed by an artist born in Vila do Bispo», where «his art of wood, his chisel gestures and his vision of the local heritage are honored».
Organized by the Vila do Bispo City Council, the exhibition can be visited from Monday to Friday from 10:00 am to 16:30 pm.
