The group exhibition “Vórtices, Abyss, Black Holes & Other Similar Places” opens next Saturday, March 12, at 17:00 pm, at Associação 289, at Solar das Pontes de Marchil, in Faro.
This is the first show of the year, promoted by 289.
«The title of the exhibition takes us to the work of art through a diving necessary for its revelation and understanding. The work of art is an abyss where it is necessary to sink in order to survive/exist. This is the challenge that Associação 289 proposes with this collective exhibition, where resident and guest artists meet, where languages and styles are mixed, where practices and concepts are merged», says the association.
The exhibition will be open until the 1st of May.
