The show “Mente Inquieta”, by Teatro do Sótão, a project of the Algarve Mental Health Association (ASMAL), has exhibitions scheduled for this Friday and Saturday, April 1st and 2nd, at 21:00 pm, in the Black Box of LAMA, in Faro.
«”Mente Inquieta” is a collective creation, staged by João de Brito, which emerged through the theater workshop promoted under the MentalizArte project – co-financed by the Project Financing Program», explains ASMAL.
The work developed by Teatro do Sótão – an inclusive group of ASMAL aims at the psychosocial rehabilitation of its participants, through the experience of aesthetic experiences, creative and artistic processes.
It also «intends to contribute to the demystification of the stigma associated with mental illness, recognizing and valuing the personal and artistic abilities of performers».
