Permanent Commissions of the AM of Vila do Bispo took office

The members of the Municipal Permanent Commissions of the Municipal Assembly of Vila do Bispo took office on Friday, March 25, during a session, which took place at the Parish Council of Sagres.

«The constitution of the Permanent Municipal Commissions (CMP) aims, within the scope of the powers of supervision and monitoring of municipal management, as well as the approval of various matters by the Municipal Assembly, to allow the body to exercise these same powers in a faster way. and effective, also allowing to support the municipal executive in matters within the competence of the Central Administration with an impact on the municipal territory and on the well-being of its population», according to Luciano Guerreiro Rafael, president of the AM of Vila do Bispo.

The Permanent Municipal Commission I will focus on the areas of «Finance, Heritage, Human Resources and processes of decentralization of competences, between the central administration and the municipality or between the municipality and the parishes».

CMP II will be in charge of «Spatial Planning, Urban Planning, Urban Rehabilitation and Municipal Works, Basic Infrastructure, Road Network, Mobility and Security».

There will also be a group of municipal deputies focused on the "Economy, Tourism, Innovation, Internationalization, Environmental Sustainability, Climate Action" (CMP III) and another on "Housing, Social Rights and Citizenship, Health, Culture, Education, Youth and Sport". » (CMP IV).
