Paulo Galindro will illustrate live in schools in Loulé

Portuguese illustrator is the guest of the initiative “Quem está na Escola”

Students from the 3rd cycle of schools in Loulé will participate in live illustration sessions with the artist Paulo Galindro on the 8th, 9th and 10th of March, as part of the “Quem está na Escola” initiative.

During these actions, promoted by the Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen Municipal Library, «the guest will interact with the students, answering their questions and explaining their techniques. He will take some graphic diaries with him to talk about his work. In the end, each of the illustrations will remain in the library», according to the Câmara de Loulé.

Paulo Galindro was born in 1970. Graduated in Architecture, he is the author of several illustrated books, made in partnership with some of the most important national and international writers, such as Luís Sepúlveda, António Mota, David Machado, among others. He saw his work awarded several times.

Together with Natalina Cóias, he created the illustration collective Pintarriscos.
