Two Algarve people telling stories “Da Saia à Orelha”

Tickets cost 6 euros

The narrative is set against the well-known tale “Alice in Wonderland”, but the show is much more than just this world created by Lewis Carroll. Eva Barros and Bruno Águas are two actors from the Algarve who, on the 5th and 6th of March, will tell stories for the whole family, at LAMA Black Box, in Faro.

She is from Faro; he from Portimão. For Eva Barros and Bruno Águas, “Da Saia à Orelha – Enchanting Stories” is a “special show”.

“We are happy to go to our region to share our work with our countrymen. At the same time, it also makes us a little nervous because a lot of our friends, family members go there», says, laughing, Eva Barros.

This will be a show that crosses oral narration with theater. There will also be dancing and music, in a “very fun” play.

«What we did was to take a story known to many, in this case “Alice in Wonderland”. Therefore, many of the characters you will see are known to everyone», frames the actress.

Still, although Lewis Carroll's tale is where the action takes place, the «stories told will be different».

The objective of the two actors is, above all, that «people have fun», at the same time that «they see themselves in those stories».

“That's a little bit what we want: for stories to be spread by word of mouth”, says Eva Barros.

For now, and after the premiere in Alcochete, this show is only scheduled to be shown in one city in the Algarve: Faro.

The sessions are on March 5th (16:00 pm) and 6th (11:00 am).

Tickets cost 6 euros and can be reserved by sending an email to [email protected].
