The popular artist Rita Melo will be accompanying the preparation of the recipe.

D. Maria Manuela Fragoso still «preserves the secrets of traditional cuisine» and will be teaching, next Thursday, December 30, from 18:00, through facebook, cooking “Couvada de Aljezur”. 

This was a recipe that «formerly was enjoyed on the council's tables during the festive season», says the City Council.

Accompanying the preparation of the recipe will be the popular artist Rita Melo.

This initiative, which is part of the Bezaranha cultural program, will be available on Youtube.

 

Cabbage Recipe:

– 1 open shank/chamboo;
– 1 ear with proboscis;
– 1 belly / streaky;
– 1 foot open in half;
– 3 bones with meat;
– 6 kg of cabbage;
– 1⁄2 kg of sweet potatoes from Aljezur
