Starting this Wednesday, December 22, the City Council of Olhão will make available two free testing centers in the city, "so that all citizens of Olhão can enjoy a safe Christmas", announced the municipality.
The creation of these two spaces, located in Praceta de Agadir and in the parking lot located at the back of the Real Marina Hotel & Spa, is the result of a partnership between the Municipality and the municipality's analysis laboratories and pharmacies. They start working tomorrow, no prior scheduling is necessary.
At these sites, free covid-19 antigen rapid tests will be made available to the population. Each citizen will have access to four tests per month.
At Praceta de Agadir, the tests will be carried out, without marking, in a model walk-thru, tomorrow (December 22nd) and on Thursday (December 23rd) from 13:00 pm to 17:00 pm and from 19:00 pm to 22:00 pm.
At the back of the Hotel Real Marina, also without the need to make an appointment, free testing will work in the form drive-thru also on the 22nd and 23rd, from 9:00 am to 20:00 pm.
This space will also be available on the 26th of December, from 11:00 am to 15:00 pm and from 16:00 pm to 20:00 pm.
The Municipality of Olhão calls for "the understanding of citizens for the waiting time they may face to submit to the desired test."
