Vale do Lobo Resort, in partnership with Associação Vida Nativa, will hold this Saturday, November 20, at 10:00 am, a walk to clean up the beach.
The action intends to mark the National Day of the Sea, celebrated on the 16th of November, and to raise awareness "for the importance of preserving the natural environment that is enjoyed during a good part of the year, but especially during the summer months", says the resort.
The initiative will start with a short walk along the beach, where «the objective is to collect the garbage found and count it at the end». All volunteers must bring comfortable clothing, as well as a hat, sunscreen and water.
“Contributing to the maintenance of the ecosystem, by collecting garbage and residues found on the site, will help to restore the natural balance of the site while everyone who participates will enjoy a fun and crucially important experience”, highlights the resort.
