Olhanense was eliminated from the Portuguese Cup after losing 2-1 to Rio Ave, in an exciting game and well achieved by the Algarve, played this Saturday, the 20th, in Vila do Conde.

The team from Olhão took advantage after 10 minutes, with a penalty, converted into a goal by Ricardo Matos.

The Algarvians were surprising at home to a team from a higher level and managed to take the advantage until half-time.

But, in the second part, Rio Ave managed to turn around.

At 58, Tiago Sousa missed the cut and the ball went to Aziz, who in the center of the area did not miss. It was done 1-1.

Olhanense tried to react and approach the opposing goal, but it was the same Aziz who, on 68 minutes, put Vila do Conde's team ahead.

The coach of the Algarve put "all the meat in the roaster", but the result did not change until the end, dictating Olhanense's removal from the Portuguese Cup, to the fourth round.
