More than 1,5 million people have already been vaccinated against the flu in Portugal

General Directorate of Health maintains the call for vaccination against the flu and against COVID-19

Portugal has already administered around 1.561.000 doses of flu vaccine (including around 400 in pharmacies) and more than 750 thousand booster and additional doses of vaccine against COVID-19, announced today the General Directorate of Health (DGS ).

These results "were possible with the acceleration of daily vaccination in vaccination centers", including at the weekend, through the modality "Open House", added the DGS.

Over the past two days alone, and until 18 pm this Sunday, more than 00 thousand doses of vaccine were administered against the flu and around 66 thousand doses against COVID-80, of which around 19 thousand were booster doses.

The “open house” mode for people aged 75 and over is maintained throughout the week. Before going to the Vaccination Center in your area of ​​residence,
people should consult the respective opening hours at https://covid19.min-saude.pt/casa_aberta/.

Users continue to be summoned preferably by SMS, through centralized scheduling and, locally, by the respective vaccination points,
for simultaneous flu vaccine and COVID-19 vaccine or flu vaccine only (if not eligible for COVID-19).
