A 53-year-old man was arrested in the act in Quarteira, on 20 October, for drug trafficking, in an operation of the Criminal Investigation Nucleus (NIC) of the Loulé GNR.
After a search of the suspect, as well as a house search, the GNR's NIC seized 82 doses of cocaine, two mobile phones, a knife, drug cutting product, various material for the packaging of a narcotic product and also 410 euros in cash.
Present in court, the suspect was required to make daily appearances at the police station in the area of residence, prohibition to leave the country, with the delivery of a passport, obligation not to remain in areas associated with drug trafficking and obligation not to contact witnesses .
