Theater and music liven up TEMPO in October

theater, with "Molly Bloom's Night" and the “Death of a traveling salesman”, and a concert by the “Club Makumba” are some of the highlights of the October program of the Teatro Municipal de Portimão.

This Saturday, the 9th, ACTA – The Algarve Theater Company presents the play “A Noite de Molly Bloom”, based on the XVIII chapter of Ulisses, by James Joyce, with adaptation and dramaturgy by José Sanchis Sinisterra, translated by José Bento and staged by Luís Vicente.

On the 16th, it will be the turn of the Teatro Nacional D. Maria II to take to Portimão the play “Death of a traveling salesman”, by Arthur Miller, a production by Artistas Unidos, staged by Jorge Silva Melo, presented in the scope of Rede Eunice Ageas.

On the 30th, Tó Trips (Dead Combo, Lulu Blind, among others), João Doce (Wraygunn), Gonçalo Prazeres and Gonçalo Leonardo will take to the TEMPO stage for a Halloween concert with “Club Makumba”, a project that will take the spectator on a journey through the sounds of the Mediterranean and the imagined Africa, for music without prejudice and without borders.

The three shows take place at 21 pm, with prices of 00 euros for "The Night of Molly Bloom" and 5 euros for "The Death of a Salesman" and "Club Makumba".

Tickets can be purchased at the TEMPO ticket office, from Tuesday to Saturday between 13:00 pm and 18:00 pm, and on the nights of the show until the start.

They are also for sale online. here and in the usual places that adhere to BOL, such as FNAC, Worten, CTT, Youth Hostels, El Corte Inglês, Lojas Note! and Serveasy Network.

During the month of October, it is also possible to attend free concerts presented as part of the project to support local artists “The stage is yours”, which take place on Thursdays, at 19 pm, with the bands “Duo Calatrava + Simple Song Band ” (00th), “Adriana Marques + Brasa Doirada” (7th) and “Sticky Fingers Duo + Your Glam Band + Carlos Peregrino (14th).

Back in this new season that began in September, there is also “Choque Frontal ao Vivo”, the Alvor FM radio program recorded live once a month in the Small Auditorium of TEMPO with the public to watch, which in October has as guests of the band Bite the Blue Lemon.

Invitations for “The stage is yours” and “Choque Frontal ao vivo” can be picked up at the ticket office of the Municipal Theater of Portimão the day before the event.
