Régis Vincent exhibits “Cycles & Repetitions” at Associação 289

The exhibition will be open to the public until the 4th of December

The exhibition “Cycles & Repetitions”, by Régis Vincent, opens this Saturday, October 30th, from 17 pm, at Associação 00, in Faro.

«“Cycles & Repetitions” shows the public a set of works where one can observe the path and transformations of forms in the artist's creative process», explains the association.

«An organic form stands out in this process, continuously repeating itself, perpetuating itself throughout the various revisits that the artist makes, repeatedly and obsessively exploring the possibilities of representing it, in a renewed desire to explore, create and start over from new”, he adds.

Régis Vincent graduated in Visual Arts from the University of Algarve in 2014. Son of emigrant parents, he comes from a generation very influenced by hip-hop/graffiti. During his degree, he explored other means of visual expression, ranging from painting and drawing to multimedia and illustration.

Régis Vincent has participated in several group exhibitions such as Bivar, Oilgarve, Festival MED, having also exhibited at the IPDJ in Faro. In 2014 he was invited to paint a mural for the museum in Faro, having also participated in the Meeting Off The Wall – Conrad. Former member of the Polichromia Association, he is currently a member of the 289 Association in Faro.

The exhibition will be open to the public until the 4th of December and can be visited from Thursday to Sunday, from 15:00 to 19:00.
