Carvoeiro hosts national congress that will promote sport for all

Event will last two days and will have conferences, debates and workshops

«Raising public decision-makers' awareness of the real benefits of the Sport for All policies» is the objective of a national congress that Associação Teia D'Impulsos and Câmara de Lagoa will promote on the 26th and 27th of November, at the Hotel Tivoli Carvoeiro.

In this “National Congress of Sport for All”, «participants will have the opportunity to share knowledge and experiences, in the various modalities, in the area of ​​sport for all, in moments divided into conferences, debates and workshops».

The objective of this initiative is to «promote good sports practices for all in Portugal» among the various promoters of sport, namely «academy, political power, federations, clubs and athletes».

In the end, they hope that the awareness that will be carried out will lead "to actions with a positive impact on the quality of life of the population in general".

Registration for the event will open "soon" and the final program will be "unveiled in the coming weeks".

For now, the association says that among the topics under debate, «will be the future of Sport for All in Europe, its inclusive role among special populations and its impact on young people, its relationship with education, entrepreneurship and tourism".

Teia D'Impulsos is also active in the field of Sports, namely, adapted sailing through the Vela Solidária project, one of the winners of the BPI Foundation Award “La Caixa” Capacitar 2021.
