The recital “Ary dos Santos – Cavalo à Solta”, by Afonso Dias, will take place on November 5th, from 21 pm, at the Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen Municipal Library, in Loulé.
Ary dos Santos made the history of Portuguese music for having written poems for four winning songs from the Festival RTP da Canção and selected to represent Portugal in Eurovisão, including “Desfolhada”, performed by Simone.
In addition, his important collaboration as lyricist of songs performed by Amália Rodrigues and Carlos do Carmo is noteworthy.
This event has a limited number of participants according to the recommendations of the DGS, but admission is free.
