There is “Festa da Cataplana” in Castro Marim and Altura

Initiative will run until October 18th

The “Festa da Cataplana” returns to Castro Marim and Altura until 18 October, with 14 restaurants joining the initiative that aims to “contribute to overcoming the devastating economic effects that the measures to combat Covid-19 have generated”.

14 restaurants in the municipality join the initiative and will present at least two types of cataplana with attractive and differentiating prices.

«Although the seafood cataplana is one of the most sought after, there will also be no shortage of octopus, cod, anglerfish, kid and pork tenderloin cataplana».

The "Festa da Cataplana" aims to "promote and promote the local culture, economy and gastronomy, attracting the public looking for quality and gastronomic differential and thus boosting the economic dynamic, which has been particularly fragile in the last two years", explains the municipality .

The organization calls on the public to make their reservations at participating restaurants, as well as to respect Covid-19's prevention measures.
