The Municipal Fire Department of Olhão has open enrollments until September 30th for recruiting volunteers.
«The prerequisites for attending the Firefighters Initial Instruction Course are compulsory education, age between 17 and 44 years and physical and mental strength», says the Chamber of Olhão.
This initial training, theoretical and practical, will address areas such as first aid techniques, rescue and extrication techniques, or urban, industrial and forest fire extinguishing operations.
