Associação Cultural Música XXI will release a CD with the last concert in Portugal by the late pianist Sequeira Costa, this Friday, October 1st, at 19 pm, at its restored headquarters, marking World Music Day.
After a year in which the activities were committed, «it is with the euphoria present in the spirit of music that the Association's management will fulfill a dream with more than 10 years: the launch of the concert by Sequeira Costa at the Municipal Theater of Faro, which took place precisely on the 1st of October 2010», highlights the association.
This was the last concert that Sequeira Costa, who died in 2019 in the United States, gave in Portugal.
In addition to these events, the new website of Associação Cultural Música XXI, which can be visited from Friday.
All these initiatives had the support of the City Council of Faro and the Union of Parishes of Sé and S. Pedro.
