The 3rd edition of the Algarve Con–Convention of Board Games will take place on the 14th and 15th of August in Faro, organized by the Youth Association Sê Mais Se Melhor and the MTG Club of Olhão.
This initiative, the only board game convention below the Tagus, will feature hundreds of games, workshops, formations, role playing and raffles, in a «weekend that promises to come to heat up the spirits in Faro and lead to forget the difficult moments of the last year», says the Youth Association Sê Mais Sê Melhor.
Between 10:00 and 21:00 on Saturday and 10:00 and 18:00 on Sunday, all participants will be able to count on the classics Magic the Gathering, Dungeons and Dragons and Catan, but also with the new hits from the world of board games, like the Wingspan, Dixit, Exit, Unlock and others of the same style.
“This is not just an event designed for experienced people, there are board games and activities for all ages and any level of experience”, stresses the organization.
The board game convention has a volunteer team available to help understand the games, accompany the event and carry out various activities.
The event follows all the guidelines of the General Directorate of Health (DGS) and is committed to the well-being and protection of all participants, with maximum capacity for the event.
