Silves produces sets and hair ribbons for children and young people in São Tomé and Guinea Bissau

These pieces "will soon be sent to these African countries", says the Chamber of Silves

The Lifelong Education Hubs of the municipality of Silves joined the “Adolescer” project, producing around 950 pieces for children and adolescents in São Tomé and Príncipe and Guinea Bissau.

Among the sewn pieces are fabric cases to be given to school children and hair ribbons, resulting from the reuse of thread and wool, as well as reusable sanitary towels.

These pieces "will soon be sent to these African countries", says the Chamber of Silves.
