Nominations were accepted by young people

Groups of young people of various nationalities, aged between 16 and 18, totaling around 800 people, were dispersed this Saturday by the Maritime Police of Albufeira, at Praia da Oura.

The alert was given around 20:45 by the beach concessionaires, and the elements of the maritime police, when they arrived, found "several groups of young people on the beach".

"Young people were warned to comply with the rules in force, in particular for the rules of occupation on the beaches, permanence and physical distance in places open to the public, as well as to avoid crowds of people", explains the Maritime Authority.

The Maritime Police gave the groups of young people to disperse, “the indications having been complied with, there being no record of occurrences or disobedience”.

The National Maritime Authority "reinforces the warning that the restrictions in relation to agglomerates of people on public roads are still in force."
