In Loco has launched a new support tender for small agricultural investments, within the scope of the Local Development Strategy for the Interior of the Central Algarve, of which the association is the managing entity.
Those interested in submitting applications to the notice “Small Investments in Agricultural Exploration”, inserted in measure 10 “LEADER” of PDR2020, can do so from yesterday until 10 September.
“Promoting the improvement of the living, working and production conditions of farmers” and “contributing to the process of modernization and capacity building of companies in the agricultural sector” are the objectives that the applications must fulfill.
The investment in the farms must be greater than or equal to one thousand euros and less than or equal to 40 thousand euros. Support ranges from 40% to 50% of the eligible investment, in the form of a non-refundable subsidy.
The projects must be located in the territory of the Interior Algarve Central, which covers the following parishes: Guia and Paderne, in the municipality of Albufeira; Santa Bárbara de Nexe, Conceição and Estoi, in the Municipality of Faro; Alte, Ameixial, Boliqueime, Salir, São Sebastião and Querença, Tôr and Benafim, in the municipality of Loulé; Pechão and Moncarapacho and Fuseta, in the Municipality of Olhão; São Brás de Alportel; São Bartolomeu de Messines and São Marcos da Serra, in the municipality of Silves; Cachopo, Santa Catarina da Fonte do Bispo and Luz de Tavira and Santo Estêvão, in the municipality of Tavira.
According to In Loco, this continues to be the measure with the greatest demand in this territory, "so the management body decided to channel more funds to reopen this tender".
